Win $25,000 – But hurry!
National Geographic’s “Think Like a Genius” contest is coming to a close at the end of the month, but you still have time to submit a short video and enter to win $25,000 in one or all of three categories. The contest is accepting submissions through July 31, 2017.
Submissions are by video and you just share an idea, nothing complex needed for presentation.
Individuals may submit entries for one, two or all three of the following categories.
The Categories:
- Sustainable Planet
- Global Health
- Feeding 9 Million
The best part, is that many of the ideas and submissions are shared and you can peruse short videos available for each topic that offer some very fine design thinking and inspiration. Fair warning, there are also a couple of cloaked advertisement videos that compare Einstein’s thinking process to the innovation of toothpaste by a toothpaste brand we aren’t impressed with.
Even if you’re not interested in entering, take a look at some of the submissions and we guarantee it will open up some new ideas for thinkers.

“Your idea will be evaluated on the following criteria: innovation, creativity, viability, and inspiration.
You can submit up to three ideas to the CHASING GENIUS community and share and comment on the ones that inspire you. Be sure to tap into the creative genius of your friends and family and encourage them to participate.
Members of the CHASING GENIUS Council will help choose three winners, one in each category, and the community will choose the People’s Choice. The four winners will receive $25,000 each to take their ideas further.”
